5.3.6. Cups SPHERICONE screwed, project

Provisional summary The SpheriCone project (2001) is a project mainly intended to study the interest of achieving a compromise deviating slightly from the biconical shape.

It could be considered as an evolution of the well-known Lord's acetabulum, incorporating the new properties of the newly calculated teeth, as well as the concepts of flexibility accessible thanks to the thin shell and the multicone junction between the shell and the insert.
